Just bear with me, folks. This whole thing reminds me of this story. And it is true.

A new pastor comes to a long-established church. Right around the holidays. This church had a long tradition of a service for children on Christmas Eve. At the end of the service, Santa appeared to the delight of the kiddos and parents.

Well, the new pastor would have none of that. Santa in a church? He said no way. Guess what? He became known as “the man who fired Santa Claus.” Was the start of a bad relationship in this church, much fighting and such until he left.

Remind you of something? I can see a parallel.

duh..i get up to get a glass of water and take my thyroid pill and what did i do??/
