Thank you, @Yahooey.❤️   That's helpful to know, and gave me more insight before talking to HSN's support folks.

I called and spoke with one person, then another, and neither of them were aware that HSN even has a Community forum...  so I was put on hold while the 2nd person checked, and then the call was disconnected after a few minutes.   

I did a little more looking around on the site, tried a few more things, then called again.   

This time the 1st representative was familiar with the forums and she transferred me to someone in the tech area who was able to look at my account and the forum portal. 

She said the system seems to think I"m already signed into the Community but still asks for me to log in, and that's triggering a problem with the password.  (sigh)   

She created an IT support ticket but told me she couldn't give me a time frame.  I'll give it a few days and see what happens.   It's not a big thing, but comes at a time when it feels like I'm walking into walls at every turn.   

All of the reps were pleasant, helpful, friendly. 

Just feel a wee bit of frustration at a time when I feel sad about so many things.

Need to keep a low profile... 😉

As I mentioned in another thread, I'd really rather just be able to exchange email addresses with some here in the forums, which is impossible.  I'm just not sure I want to get involved in another social media site.  Just feeling down today.

I struggle with depression and that's what I feel right now...  that heavy murky cloud that muffles the sights, sounds of everything.   Erases the color, the music, the magic for a time.

I'm in the same position as some others who have no family or real friends nearby, who have lost loved ones over time, and this loss of our community of posters who were always there just a login away is a heartbreaker.

I think most of us feel it, and it's natural and we'll work though it.   I see so many posters working diligently to find ways for us to remain in touch, and that's evidence of the deep and meaningful connections we've made.   I want to find comfort in that, wrap it around me like a soft downy blanket, and I hope in time we all can do that.

Thank you for your presence and for that lovely hug.   

Love that sweet kitty face!  I miss my Rosie cat, and her hugs, but I can feel them when I see pix like this one.
