Aw, so sorry about DH's new blanket.  How disappointing!

I hate when stuff like that happens.😠

But maybe it's just because it's new.  Sometimes I've washed a new blanket and it sheds like crazy the first time but that's it.  The snags are another story though.  If you used a gentle cycle to wash, I don't know what else to do--other than to return it as defective.

And then you're stuck looking for another blanket.☹️

Is this a weighted blanket?

@geezerette @Bri369 Thank you. No this is not a weighted blanket it just weighs 5 pounds like the old blanket. I followed the washing instructions to use cold water and on delicate and tumble dry low. I was very careful putting it in and out of the washer and dryer. It took 3 cycles to dry. This blankets original price was $85 but on sale for $36.99. I will try tomorrow and go on line to read the reviews to see if any of my issues were mentioned. When I finished and folded the blanket it still looked good. DH is afraid that the truly weighted blankets would be too hot and heavy for him and doesn't want to try one.

I also thought about you yesterday 

It was also my daughters 59 birthday and we went for lunch,went to one place where i looked at new fall sweatshirts and Christmas items!

I bought a nice  pretty navy colored heavier weight sweatshirt with a Owl on a branch and some colored glitter on it for around December time..for only $19.99w/o tax.

Only had a size L..(usually buy a M).all the other sweatshirts were light weight and didn't like feel of slickness of them!

I need to keep my body warm..lol
