Been a while since I checked in.  My DH’s friend is now in heaven, and friend of DB and friend of DIL now in Boston each for cancer surgery.  Bright spot was back to school shopping for GC - they are so happy with new stuff.  I have always insisted on buying their fall footwear.  Gift from us, giving with warm hand, so to speak.  GS in men’s shoes now at age 13.

I am so sorry, @cowboySam, to hear of the passing of your dear brother.  This must be a time of remembering so many years as brother and sister, and certainly sorrow.  Sending my best thoughts to you.

And @Yahooey, I am most sorry to hear of your dear mother’s passing.  On one hand, it is a sense of relief that someone you dearly love is released from pain and suffering.  On the other hand, you are without your dear mother.  And your last parent.

I will be sending you healing thoughts.  I walked this road, as well.  My mom was ill for a few years before passing, cared for in a nursing home, just about 12 years ago.  My last parent.

Allow yourself time to grieve and then heal.  You were such a devoted and loving daughter, and I am sure your mother is in heaven with your dad.

I sent a text to oldesr sister yesterday asking about brothers funeral  and was she going to Fla  as she lives in Tx??  No reply!!!

 To relieve stress  and internet problems with AT&T  i went for a walk with neighbor lady. She had tried calling me  on my landline but no answer from me..(my internet and phone is bundle w/AT&T)  so she came over and knocked on front door.

On way back home saw 2 AT&T trucks leaving a house up the street from me...so hoping everything is going to work ok  now.

Lawdy..do i need a shower after walking in hot humid air and no breeze!

oh next Wed. is my daughters b-day.. but i will celebrate your mom in heaven being with you dad and other family and frieds of hers.
