In trying to catch up, I just read through some of the most recent posts and I am so sorry to read that some of our Preds' Friends are going through such difficult times...
@cowboy sam ...I am so very sorry to read about your brother's passing...Sending a Prayer and ((((Hugs)))) to you and your family. 
@Yahooey ...My heart is breaking for you as you go through this very difficult time with your dear precious Mom...She is so blessed to have you as a most devoted and loving daughter and you can be assured that her heart is overflowing with much appreciation and love....We are all here for you... surrounding you with (((((Hugs))))).

Mom has been set free
She passed peacefully in the ambulance on her way to the nursing home.
She was home till the very end.
I did not fail her.
I'm fine - I couldn't have wished for a better outcome in this horrible situation.
She was in and out with eyes mostly closed as she drank water and ensure.
But on Sunday her eyes were open as she looked and took each of us in - ate a little cupcake as it was dropped in her mouth. I told her that we were all fine and will be okay and no worries. I told her that my older niece's cat is a good cat. She nodded. I said our Zoe is a good cat - she nodded. I said my younger niece's dog is a big fat dog. She kinda smiled and nodded. I talked about her garden and how we all harvested food that afternoon. She spoke a little but just stared at each of us and was coherent.
