Dear @Yahooey 

I can see why you thought you failed her. You had high expectations for yourself. None of what happened sounds like failure. It sounds like disappointment. 
What you did was done with love. Even a professional never gets it right all the time.

You are making decisions and taking on responsibilities that are difficult and heart-wrenching. You have a right to feel bad, to feel sorrow, to feel whatever comes up. But don't forget to give yourself credit and love, as often as you want or need. 

You are definitely not a failure. You're a loving, caring daughter.

Good Morning Preds and Friends!

i'm much better today, thank you all for your kindness and support

Pancake showed up for about 10 minutes - we will leave it at that

i wanted her to leave - she is not a comfort to anyone

I asked SIL to come and just be with me - more for me than for my mom

we ordered lunch and she picked it up - it was a good meal since i haven't been eating - a surprise for rme is younger niece left work to be with me and we all had lunch togeter - i showed her my knitted hat and she chose her colors and will be getting 1 along with SIL

older niece showed up soon after and i requesed cookies from Levain Bakery

she showed up with a dozen cookies - didnt expect that

these are what most are calling the NYC style cookies - there are huge and the size of a scone - no joke

both nieces went to the garden and picked string beans and tomatoes 

showed the bounty to mom  and i think that made her happy

- the garden was her pride and joy

mom told us where to plant the seeds and that was in March - she looked at the garden 1 more time before a doc appt in May -

she couldnt go downstairs anymore and difficult to walk

we haven't been all together in 1 place since probably prior to 2020

brother got off work

my older nephew drove in from jersey and brought a feast of chinese food from edison - which specializes in dumplings and noodles

younger nephew got off work 

so we all ate together - we all talked and joked and it was nice to laugh

they all visited mom from time to time - she had to be woken up but that was okay

every time i get a call from various people - always on speaker phone so another can interpret the info - ther are lots of calls - lots of info and more meds arrived

everyone helped with cleaning, distributing leftovers and they left around 8pm

older niece will come over today and will bake me a tomato galette for lunch and stay for the day 

visiting nurse will be here 9am and administer drugs

social worker will be here aroun 1030 

cross ur finger and pray that the insurance and the chain of command goes smoothly and mom can go to the facility later afternoon or tomorrow

mom haven't been eating excpet for a little ensure -

pls continue to pray for us

i slept yestereay for the first time - 6 full hrs

You sound so much better today.  Being with your family and eating and sleeping makes so much of a difference.  I'm happy your niece is coming to be with you today too.  It's important to have a good support system.  

I hope the process goes smoothly getting your mom to the facility.  It's a difficult journey for everyone.  You are the best daughter and friend

I've seen those cookies on TV - probably the Food Network.  They are huge.  They look delicious.  

I'm jealous of the tomato galette too.  I'm sure it will be delicious.

@Yahooey : So relieved that you have a lot of help. I know it is hard but a little rest and continue to eat will give you the much needed strength and energy to do everything that is necessary. All the food sounds delicious. I want the cookies with my coffee this morning. Preds and Friends are here for you. 🤗❤️☕️☕️☕️🥓🥓🥓🥓
