Grey, Rainy, Hot all day.  🙁

We've been mostly lucky in my area of California with regard to not having smoky skies most of summer. I'm in the SF Bay Area. But smoke is now blowing in our direction from the California fires as well as from other fires from other western states. Thank goodness for airnow and purpleair. 

Luckily, it's not too hot. Today and tomorrow we'll have smoky hazy days. Not too bad if you're not sensitive, but I did double-mask (N-95 mask under a cute pleated cloth mask) while walking my dog this morning. 

Sadly, there aren't any of the K-9 brand masks that are useful for smoke in the air available for chihuahua-size dogs yet, just for bigger ones.

If anyone needs a dog mask, here's a picture of the K-9 brand with the N-95 filters:

Good afternoon Preds and Preds very special friends: I learned one very important lesson in the last few days. Be careful what you start or do because it can lead to a whole lot of trouble and not fun. Went out to eat today with DH. My friend that works at the restaurant and cleans my house today was begging me to make her DH more of the hot pepper jelly. She stated she looked at recipes on line but she doesn't have the jelly maker or the water bath canner. He begged her the entire weekend for more jelly and stated willing to pay me. Well if I make more for him - my DH insisted that I make more for his friend, BIL and of course the regular jelly for his sister.I had not planned to start a business. This is time consuming considering the fact that I am so slow doing stuff. One fine mess that I have gotten my self in🤷‍♀️😳. Anyone else in trouble besides me?DH friend was eating the jelly on cornbread, crackers, meat and vegetables- he got 4 jars.❤️❤️🤗
