@Mj12 , she doesn't drive either. Unfortunately, FIL does, but shouldn't. He's blind as a bat.

WHAT in the world were they planning to DO at your closing?

Speaking just for myself, if I had not finally let my MIL know personally, and privately that there were boundaries she could no longer cross, I would have lost it!

I am grateful DH was very supportive once he learned how deeply her words and actions upset me.  His great-aunt, whom I loved, told me I was a ‘breath of fresh air to the family’

I would have asked them to leave as this was a private matter ,and opened the door for them  until they left!!

Please don't tell us that they are in your new house right now!
