Hello Lovelies,

Hoping everyone is well and looking forward to a “more normal” summer.  Yes, those bugs that light up are marvelous.

The joys of more country life.  As a little boy, our DS was used to using parking garages when we went to a city.  But he was taken by wonder when he saw a parking meter on a small city street.  What is that??  It’s all perspective.

I am going through old pictures, piles and piles of old greeting cards etc.  Many pack rats are so, so sentimental.  A week ago, my late mom’s much younger sister passed.  She was just ten years older than me.  Her DH passed only three months before. 

I just marvel at the zip of @SouthernBee and @cowboy sam.

Still on my diet, and I gotta get more exercise.  Trouble is I am more a thinker, not a doer.  Books, magazines, and a good sit.

Anybody with advice?  And no, far too old for a dog.

I'm not a fan of the muggy weather.  It is nice to see the sun shining and all the trees in bloom.  I haven't seen any mosquitos yet.  Or Cicadas.  LOL

@geezerette : I always wanted the Bose multidisc player but could not afford or justify the price. I just checked the Bose outlet. No multidisc players but the refurbished cd radio system is $299.99 with one year warranty. Afraid to try this and still more than I want to pay. More research.
