Bashert - I like that!

I hope this story will not burden your spirit.

He will pay, absolutely, we know that.

@Drythe  I would not let that burden my spirit. That behavior goes on every day. Hearing the story up close, brings it to the forefront of my mind. The happy ending, lights up my heart and soul!

I do believe he will pay. Most of the mean or bad people I know, have paid for their bad deeds. So..........

Have a good evening and kiss Bertie for me. Maybe, give him an extra treat, on me!

Happiness is not a destination, it is a way of life.

Bertie is a no fuss doggie. He is a Puggle - 1/2 Pug, 1/2Beagle.  He wants a short walk daily, and the rest of the time he is a snuggly boy.  No brushing, just nail clipping.

His Mom had to go into hospice, and left her house to her brother with the understanding that brother would care for Bertie.  Brother

left Bertie out in her yard all of Dec. Jan. & Feb. alone, no food, no water.  A nice neighbor put a bowl of food and water in the yard for him, and a towel on the front porch for him to sleep on.

Poor baby, all alone in the dark and cold.  Breaks my heart.  After 3 months the neighbor was going away on a cruise, and put a notice in the neighborhood news, if anyone could give him a home please call, or she would have to take him to the shelter.

We called, and brought him HOME.  We and he are so fortunate,

we all love each other very much, he just walked right into our hearts.  Robbie, the Lab thinks He is a great buddy. He’s 10 now, been with us for two wonderful years.

Mom’s Brother never asked anyone where he went, or looked for him.  Has no idea what happened to him.

Wish Bertie had a Brother I could bring to you!💙💙💙

GM Preds and Preds very special friends. Yesterday was interesting. The rim on DH glasses broke. Since we were going to Eye Glass World decided to get my prescription out and look at frames on line. I made a list of what I liked with in my price range. We have vision insurance but still at some places the out of pocket cost can be expensive. The customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. She informed DH that he had the protection plan and she could order a replacement pair at no extra cost. I showed her my prescription and she indicated she would be glad to pick out frames and bring them to me to keep me from having to get back up. I gave her my list and she asked if she could pick out a few extras. I explained that I wanted something to cover my eyebrow area since they are very short due to health issues and can't fill them in with make up. I had looked at one pair on line that I really liked but they were designer frames $179.99🤷‍♀️.

Guess what? That frame was in her selection. Of course she and DH proclaimed it was the best looking one on me!!! She said let me check your insurance and see if it's covered? Talk about being Blessed - my copay was $20. I so excited. She said hopefully will get them back maybe in a week. Plus she indicated the frame size offered a bigger vision field and should help me seeing and the frame shape will disguise that the left lens is bigger and thicker. Also they should fit and feel better on my face😀❤️. I kept thanking her for all her help and kindness. She said she enjoyed helping me and excited about the change in style, shape and color. My precious frames were small rectangular metal and black.🤗❤️❤️❤️D1FC027B-D371-45A1-9819-5F713E1891DB.jpeg

How wonderful that you can get the glasses that you like!  Not to mention that you actually found a salesperson that was helpful and accommodating--a rare occurrence today.
