@Yahooey : Need a good laugh? Reading the reviews and a few mentioned the DVD player that it would not play the DVD sets for tv series . So me being me had to post the question. Well  some smarty said " why not  - it is a DVD player? So far the seller has not responded 😁😳.

yikes @SouthernBee

maybe you can plug in portable DVD player into Walmart, Best Buy and see what brands come up - I would hate for you to spend money and it quits working after a few months

also saw those complaints regarding product

@Yahooey : Thanks. I have a Walmart gift card with a balance of $69. I will be going to Walmart on Monday. They have the Sylvania DVD  10.1 inch player for $89 and would be easier to return. The Best Buy brand with good reviews is $99. I had one more answer from Amazon and the guy suggested to keep the DVD player on the charger while watching a movie. My best friend in Tennessee told me to purchase one because she has one and really enjoys it and uses it for movies, her church dvds . She will email me the brand name. She enjoys watching what she wants while her DH watches something else on tv. She has leg issues and difficult for her to get up and change the Dvds when she is binge watching something. I put the DVD player in my Best Buy shopping cart and with the DVD player, extended warranty and the ear phones the total was $115. So the WM price should be a little cheaper plus closer to the house.❤️

p.s...I miss my family!...Waah!

@MyShadowLove

No special dinner and no gatherings for me--I miss my fam, too! However, it's been a great day. I got some chores done to get ready for roofers to come tear off my roof tomorrow. And I had a virtual "brunch" with my dear daughter. Not a lot of brunching but LOTS of running our mouths! Then I had a facetime with my beloved sister, whose family has been battling with serious Covid with complication, but seem to be slowly on the mend now. Two still in hospital, though none currently in ICU. (Nope, it's NOT time to ease up yet.) And there were other good things today as well. Plus reading about all of you! Life is GOOD.

(((@KaySD))),  I saw your post on @sunala's thread when I was here on Sunday, but I had to log off and I'm just now getting back to try and catch up.  I wanted you to know that you, your family, and their medical team, have been on my prayer list since then.   So good to see your encouraging, hopeful update.  Your positive spirit shines though in your posts -- thank you for that.   Take care.❤️

@KaySD, Sorry to hear about what your loved ones are going through.  We’ve been through it with three people.  Was so sad, as they had not taken things seriously.  All out of hospital, one still on supplemental oxygen.  We have high hopes for him.

It is a huge worry, but I do think the treatments have evolved through experience,  Still, quite a scary time.

My DD has COVID in March last year, and has recovered so well with no long lasting effects.

Sending prayers and positive well wishes your way.

@PamfromCT, Continued prayers for your family and friends.  I want you to know that from the start I've appreciated and supported your posts about the pandemic.   It's been so darned complicated for everyone, and trying to post about it all here when we are separated by anonymous nicknames and the severe limitations of just the written word...  if all of us could discuss things face to face I feel we would quickly find and embrace our common ground and be friends, all of us.   Take care.❤️

@Yahooey and @SouthernBee, Gee, you two could get into the catering business.  I would be your first customer and so grateful.

Wouldn't they, @PamfromCT!?!   I think @momtochloe would be their partner, too, and I'd be the first customer for their business!😊
