Oooh I hate that.  I'm so over winter (like I have a choice lol).

My car battery died yesterday when I was leaving a vet appointment.  That was fun!  Our roadside assistance place gave me a 2 hour estimate - too long.  Luckily, my husband left work to jump start it and took it for a new battery.  Our pup was not amused by the  delay to go home.

i used to keep canceled checks (not that i wrote lots of checks- but they add up_

then - they only gave u a copy of ur canceled check

i sorta freaked out - what will i do? keep the monthly statements?
i only kept the previous month when I balanced the checkbook

now... i threw away all the old canceled checks - some of the old check registers

Our bank doesn't even send the canceled checks anymore.  They send an image of the canceled check. 

I imagine they shred them...

whoo hoo! already 42 degrees - won't get much warmer as temps may dip to low 30s tonight - but.... in the meantime...

not as warm as @Drythe but it is a heatwave to us who were in the tundra

i still got some snow by the curb but it is only a foot as opposed to 3 ft lol
