My husband has decided he no longer wants to eat anything with a red sauce - says it aggravates his acid reflux.  I'm Italian.  Can he not take a pill?   He probably could but he never would.  I'll have to make lasagna in secret.

but

Saturday afternoon my 2 friends took me out for steak.

I ordered my steak,double baked potato and salad.,but they also gave me a small dish of sliced zuccine in tomato sause...

I took a small bite of the zuccine and it was all i could do not to" spit" out on the table!i told my 2 frieds it was yucky tasting!

Seriously it tasted horrible to me !!and i put my napkin to my mouth to get rid of it and the taste of the sauce...now my friends dh loved his!

I am unable to eat spicy tomatoe sause!

If you don't like it,  you don't like it.  LOL

I like spicy, but not super hot food.  My husband will put hot sauce or hot peppers on almost everything.  I don't know how he can stand it.

We ordered a pizza Friday night.  He actually ordered it "no sauce" but with other toppings.  I've never heard of that.  I can't.

@Mj12 : Need a good laugh? When I was single- had a good male friend over ( not dating) . He had with him IBC root beer. We ordered pizza. Pizza was delivered and it took a few minutes to determine what was wrong- they forgot the red sauce😳🤷‍♀️. Then my phone started ringing. Busybody neighbor saw the root beer bottles and thought it was beer. She called the neighborhood and told them that I had a man in the house and we were drinking. My mother had died a few months earlier and she promised Mom that she would look out and take care of me. Friend took root beer bottle to neighbor to show her and told her- If you really know this young lady and her mother- you had nothing to be concerned about.😀

@cowboy sam : I can no longer eat spicy food because of heart burn. I hate it when someone says: " Try this because it isn't hot or spicy" - yea right because for them this might be true but always to hot and spicy for me. Whenever I order pizza - I always order light sauce because a little is better than none.

@cowboy Sam, Hey, at least you didn’t hit anybody spitting out that yucky food.  That makes you a polite diner.  At least you weren’t eating with Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace.

@Yahooey, Oh, I really like Greek food.  I don’t eat much meat.

Do you cook with ground beef or lamb?  Of course, I really love Bavlaka (spelling?) You are quite a cook, with many different types of cooking.  Did you learn on your own?
