the agany of defeat..sigh

I have walked in the past in colder weather than27 degrees  but it was just a bit windy this morning.

I talked myself into walking downtown to city hall to pay my water bill, bundled up and  and taking my cane with me i started out but get only get a few blocks from home  and my  body got too cold so i had to turn around and return home!

I'm upset with myself but i called my son and he will be stopping by soon to pay bill for me...80 years old or not a few months ago i could have done it even with my cane!
