Good afternoon Precious Preds and Preds special friends. I was really tired last night. DH said that I was sound asleep by 6:30 p.m and didn't want to get up this morning. Took me forever to cook today and just finished cleaning the kitchen. Well researching for another small appliance- 2 cup chopper. I purchased my Cuisinart chopper in October 2017. Noticed today that the S shaped blade has three cracks in the middle on the plastic part and afraid that food particles can get lodged and not get cleaned plus notice that the plastic bowl is really scratched. I use this to chop pecans, onions etc. I read the reviews for the Cuisinart and Kitchenaid choppers and the reviews are very mixed. 🤷‍♀️I have an Amazon gift card. Always something.🤗❤️

i have a cruinsinart food precoesor (big for that time period) that i never use = this is over 30 years ago - a pain to clean since i dont have a dish washer

i then bought the mini crusinart - primarily to ground nuts for baking

it doens't get used day in day out - but i'm pleased with it

i've had this - knock wood for over 20 years?

good luck

@Yahooey : Several years ago- DH gave me the Cuisinart 13 cup food processor. Very difficult to get the lid on and off plus clean. They no longer make that model and a gave it to a friend. I love the 2 cup but not on the Cuisinart website. After reading the reviews- the cracks in the plastic part of the blade was a problem. Really interested in the KA until several reviews indicated very difficult to get the lid on and off. I want something quick, and easy to use and clean.

@cowboy sam : I have a lot to do this morning. The cleaning friend is coming, the yard man and pest control. Will probably purchase the Cuisinart from Amazon since I have the gift card. Hopefully it will last three years and then something better will be available.🤗❤️
