@cowboy sam : Walmart had a lot of areas that items were missing or really picked over. The baking aisle had several empty shelves. I thought they were out of the name brand of vanilla extract but finally found two small bottles. My semi- sweet chocolate morsels and butterscotch had to purchase bigger bags than what I needed. This was a second purchase. Needed a medium size bag of chopped walnuts and they only had the large and that was $9. DH was upset because they had sold out of egg nog. Finally found a bag of sweet onions. We went early before it got crowded.🤗❤️

i guess everyone is busy - finished baking my chocolate cookies yesterday - which will be distributed tomorrow - we are getting together on Xmas Eve

going to make Tiramisu for dessert tomorow along with a bakery bought Pannetore

I had the Christmas spirit in me yesterday while looking out my front window

why you ask?

uh " Buddy.".the  neighbors cat...was walking  in the street heading home as he passed my mail box!

and  uh..

uh..I behaved myself   and didn't open my front door to hiss at him to go home!

That was my

 Christmas gift to "Buddy!!

but i still don't lubs him...lol

@cowboy sam, I think that Buddy LUBS you!  The attraction to your mailbox is just so he gets you first.  No other kitties have a chance to give you LUBS.  He just may wear you down!

I think Buddy is trying to make friends with you.  Poor guy, walking alone in the street, he just wants a pat!  Maybe he’s lonely.
