I was a slug yesterday - this morning I went for a long walk and energized

@cowboy sam I don't understand why they waited so long to tell you they didn't have it  in stock - at least put you on waitlist and then tell you - apologies, but no more -

I hope this new blanket is exactly what you wanted

@SouthernBee awww..  that is such a sweet story with ur friend. I'm so glad you had a good day - I'm trying not to eat so much - but at least I'm walking now.

Confession -

I used over 2 lbs of butter between savory and sweet - that is 8 sticks

I cooked with the intention of sending lots of food home for those that want. My niece brought a giant clear box - I swear it was the size of a shoebox. We kidded around and wager on the weight of it. Half held mac n cheese and the other half was garlic mashed - 4 lbs. That was only the 1st tub lol Everyone got sent home with 2 slices of apple tart. I made 2 - 1 to eat and 1 to go.

I hoped eveyone is recovered from the festivities

@cowboy sam  No, I won't sleep in the bedroom yet.  It needs to be completely sanitized.   So does the bathroom.

@Yahooey  It's so nice to get out for a walk.  It's sunny here today - might hit 50!

Your leftovers sound so good.  I would bring a tub too.  LOL

I might have been on my knees in font of my Christmas tree on a small round end table,  too plugged lights into extention cord...

uh then tried to get up and well lost my balance  and kinda fell into my small decorated tree!...and said tree fell onto my left shoulder and down my back...and i landed on my butt!Smiley Surprised

What upset me possibly is that about 6-10 things fell off tree onto carpet!I then had to put ornaments on my tree the tree in spots....but it doesn't look the same!!...

Then i go outside to see how it looks...nope not enough ornaments showing too bare looking ....then had to add more items to back of tree facing outside!

Then i turn Christmas lights on  tree..and some won't light up!!! What did i do next??

I ate a small Kit Kat candy bar...unplugged tree and waited a bit ,plugged it back in and more lights came on it..but not all.Smiley Sad..so i unplugged it and going to sit back  and ignore it until dark tonight  then replug it back in!

If i ignore said tree  the lights might work  again...lights were on said tree when i bought it a few years ago and it's a while tree!

@cowboy sam , fingers crossed that your tree will light 💡 back up! My prelit tree bit the dust last year....SLOWLY. Section by section. This year, we bought new LED strands and put on it. No more prelit trees for us.

@cowboy sam

take a break - drink some pop, have a snack and begin again or perhaps ur friend can help you - the one that was going to light up the tree?

@cowboy sam  Oh, no!   Are you okay?  Smiley Sad

I hope the lights come back on.  Maybe one of the bulbs loosened up.
