Oh gosh yes @Yahooey !  My 6qt. is one of the originals and while it does a great job, this one is a lot easier to use (and since it's so much smaller it cooks faster too as it doesn't take as much time to come up to steam).  I have a chuck roast in there right now and will later add noodles.  If I can figure out how to post a pic I will . . .

Good Morning friends of Preds. I have some information to share and hope it will help some one. DH and I wanted to get the flu shot last Friday. Our doctor office referred us to the pharmacy. It took an hour. We had to complete the forms and then they called the doctor and insurance. The pharmacist indicated we needed the flu, can't spell -pneumonia and shingles shot. She said it was safe to take them together and I question this. Of course DH didn't want to come back. I asked about taking a Tylenol to help with the soreness and she said that could change the virus mixture!?Returning home, our arms were very sore. The flu shot left no marks. But the pneumonia was pink. The shingles site was on me about 2 1/2 inches wide- very red and itchy. By that evening, DH was visibility shaking and teeth chattering. I kept taking our temperature but no fever. DH is better but not me. Early Monday morning- I had severe stomach cramps, gas , bloating and double over in pain while trying to hurry to bathroom. I called the pharmacist and it was not the same one. His reply take Benadryl!?Seriously while dealing with bathroom issues.

He had no answer for the severe stomach issues!

I had some Benadryl cream and rubbed it on the shingles sit. It is still very red and large but not as hard.

Everything taste horrible. Can't drink water- just ginger ale.

Tried grits which normally helps but tasted like paste. Managed to eat small bowl of mashed potatoes and that calmed my stomach. The body aches are horrible and started taking Tynol on Monday.

I understand that everyone's immune system is different but please don't take the 3 vaccines together. I do not want any of you to suffer like me. I am very weak but drinking liquids and trying to eat small portions of something. I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup on Friday and that is what we ate during the weekend.🙏🤗❤️

Oh gosh @SouthernBee  that is just awful!  Those shots are supposed to prevent illness, not cause them . . .

I know my dad had zero tolerance for flu shots (violent reaction), I am sorry the pharmacist greenlit getting all of that at once, that's a lot for the body to absorb/process  And I don't get the Benedryl advice either . . . yikes.

@SouthernBee  thank you for sharing your dreadful experience. I had heard of someone getting the flu and pneumonia shots together but not the addition of the shingles vaccine. Sending you and your DH healing thoughts. Your C&N soup sounds like the best thing for both of you until you can handle something else.
