Update on my cuisinart mixer. They didn't respond to my last email and never sent the prepaid return label. 
DH hurt his back. A church friend said she could take me to Home Depot. They have a 180 day return policy. Very quick and easy. The CS rep didn't ask questions. Took my purchase information and credited my account. She said that I should wait a couple of days and then call the credit department to apply the credit to my balance. Same mixer in the store and currently on line everything sold out. The hardest part was getting the mixer back in the box. Found videos on YouTube how to do it. My friend that cleans my house was able to get it back in the box.

@SouthernBee,  I'm glad for the solution to the mixer saga!   What a relief, right?   

But I'm so sorry about your husband's back.   I hope and pray he's on the way to a speedy recovery.❤️
