1. @SouthernBee  Way to go on the weight loss.  It's okay if you eat something you're not supposed to once in a while.  You probably had less than you would have if you weren't watching.  It's okay to have a treat once in a while.

please don't be so hard on yourself,   

today,tomorrow is a new day.Just one day at a time..and i'm proud of what you have lost...i also have put on a few unwanted pounds,my excuses and very true...my walking everyday isn't what it was last year,i dwell on those extra lbs.  and drag myself down.like i did with my hair until i got it cut  but

i will tell you something that was said to me while she was cutting my hair...she said she saw me and my neighbor walking one day and honked at her..she said she didn't reconize me!!! 

I laughed and told her how my longer uneven hair had dragged my feelings about myself down!But i knew she also ment how i looked,and walked,etc...and very surprised and shocked at her comment so 

I also told her i wasn't able to walk in humdity,heat this past summer and needed to lose some weight also!  I am trying to lose my close to 10 unwanted pounds on my short body..but it doesn't want to come off!

I have changed my diet but...sigh  it's the walking and exericse i need to do also but somedays i'm a snail.!

   Sorry,I'm human also and not perfect  but if i dwell on it my mind shuts down and deppresion sets in  ...i can't handle that!

My age is also a factor and ,arthritis,fibro  but as long as i can move  and enjoy my friends here ..i can do it!,i can do it..

I miss my family also but they told me they will stay away to protect me  in case they have been around some one with the c-virus.

But my 2 friends as you know are also being protected but need out for dr. apptt,etc...and want to include me to eat and grocery shop 2x a month..so we are isolation ourselves for 2 weeks afterwards .

@cowboy sam  That's even closer to me.  LOL  Elk Grove Village is maybe 15 minutes from O'Hare.

The reason also about Elk Grove village...i think years ago my cousin and i stayed overnight in a motel to go to air port next morning to fly to Las Vegas for a week!Rem..going to Speggetti Factory to eat..  if thats correct....wow..it's been years since being there...and going to Vegas!..

I had a falling out w/cousin about her lying to me  about saying she quit smoking and   then smoke in our room when she knew i was allergic to cig. smoke!!! Then complain about me snoring or gasping during the night and  keeping her awake  !  Got tired of her using me  so i would buy her meals,etc.

But that is the past..live and learn..right..but i did get to travel a lot with her and her dh..  but.that's another story...lol

I've passed by the Spaghetti Factory.  My SIL said their breadsticks were really good.  LOL  I think it's closed now.  It's a Hibachi place or something.

I bet you had a great time in Vegas!   It's too bad about your cousin.
