I drank my can of cola,

and

I changed the sheets on my bed,

and

on my 2d load of laundry!

Might do another load when this one is done...doing warmer clothing now!

@cowboy sam : Great job, please send me some of your energy. Trying to stay busy.Door bell rang 2 hours and 32 minutes ago. Church friend had a mask on and kept her distance. She wanted to check on us and dropped off one of her well known 7 up pound cakes but not a whole one about 7 inches round. I have been so good refusing and not eating sweets. In 4 weeks - I have resisted so much temptation and down 7.8 pounds. But this cake is like my besetting sin. I have kept busy but can't get this out of my brain... grrrrrr. 🤷‍♀️

@Yahooey : I shamefully admit that the cake won. Not saying anything else except that I am not sitting here tense and tomorrow is another start. I had a reason for not using the new hand mixer.

@loves chocolate, I am most happy to hear your DB is doing so much better. And so sad that Harry has yet to come home.

@SouthernBee, Don’t be so hard on yourself. Everyti e I get going on a diet, something intervenes. You are not alone. But even when we falter, we are still heading in the right direction.

Personally, I avoid weighing myself. It is discouraging to see the scale go down so slowly. Like you, I wish I had the get-up-and-go of @cowboy sam. She must burn calories like a furnace. Maybe she could be our coach?

@PamfromCT : Thank you for the kind words. It is a difficult journey but I will continue. I am amazed at what cowboy Sam can do and would be honored to have any help from her.

I am responsible for me and what happened was from years of bad choices and will take awhile to correct.
