I bought this laptop I'm using Sept 2017

after a several months in - I would peridocially get a white screen when I open the cover

I close the lid and it would revert back to my screen saver etc

more stuff started acting up - brought it back to Apple before my warranty was up

they basically changed everything except the case - cuz I had a small knick on my keyboard casement and that was gone - and a whole checklist of what was fixed.

they should have just gave me a.new one

anyway a few weeks ago - i saw a white screen again - close lid and it went away

it was happened 3 times since

I'm afraid it is happening again -

the first time - I had to do a force quit and eventually  went to apple

bc of what's happening - can't do that, thoughts?

I have restarted the laptop hoping it would go away permanently

Sounds like you have worse problem than I do?Hope dooBdoo can help keep your computer running.Mine is apple too but just the iPad.

@momtochloe @I used to have the spin pins and they do work well but my hair is too thin now. They work to hold your hair in a twist or bun.

I am growing lettuce like crazy in a large pot outdoors. We have been eating lots and I like that there is no sprays or chemical fertilizers.I never realized how easy lettuce is to grow so I will continue to plant.

@Yahooey  If you think you broke a bone in your foot try to wear some really stiff shoes for walking.I was given a boot but I couldn't use it as it made my back hurt.I wore some very stiff hiking boots and the podiatrist thought they were perfect.I didn't take a long walk for awhile though.Cant remember how long I had to do minimal walking on it.I had to wear the hiking boots in the house too from morning to night to let the bone heal.

@cowboy sam You have had a lot of storms this year...is that normal?I hope you little doggie is going to continue to feel better.Poor little guy.I think the baby aspirin you gave him was a good idea for his pain and inflammation.

Have you seen your neighbor much lately?I have friends asking me to do things but I am  still too worried to go places. We have increasing virus cases here.I am a hermit now.

@dex

foot is fine - i just pulled something and range of motion is improving everyday

@cowboy sam other than a complete shutdown of laptop

not installing or doing anything - may bring it into apple when place is open

this is probably more a hardware issue than software
