what's everyone doing today?

yesterday I went to the supermarket and picked up my first watermelon -

very sweet and cut them into chunks for easy access - to avoid candy, 😉

dinner was a fried duck egg with whole portbella mushroom on toasted muffin with cheddar cheese - I was gifted with 4 duck eggs from my niece (who sent flowers) when she came for a visit a few days ago - I don't think I ever had a duck egg. It was richer (yolk) but I didnt taste anything different than a 🐣 - my own version of a McMuffin

I think I'm making chili this afternoon
