@Yahooey  One would think that people would go out of their way to make sure flowers get to their destination on time. They are our treasured gems. Sad. The flowers must have been stunning.

Remember, it's the thought that counts, if that is consoling at all. I would be infuriated so what am I saying 🤬

@SouthernBee, Oh, you are just a kiddo!  You have many, many more miles in your tank.  I will be 76 just a month after you, and still bopping around, making plans for what I want to do when this pandemic is over.  

I learned so much from my mother’s cousin.  (Both Mom and she are in heaven now.). They had a relative in her late 90s who was a force of nature.  Mom’s cousin compared herself to this spry relative.  Cousin said, “You want to know the difference between me and the much older spry one?  I am busy giving things away.  The spry one is planning her next season’s wardrobe.”

Doesn’t always hold true, as we know.  But she was talking to me about differences in attitude.  By the way, spry one lived til 108.  Can you believe it?

I've been told that  I have always been like a little old lady- Being a handicapped child was always sitting around with the relatives when they visited. I loved the stories about history, relatives and precious loves stories and the few pranks that they would share. 😲😁😁❤️❤️❤️ Southern Bee
