@Yahooey  I've never heard of durian fruit.  Doesn't sound appealing at all.

Sounds more like a cheese than a fruit.  LOL

@Gooday  got a message from @Preds  DD. She's sleeping most of the time now....comfortably. The nurse from hospice will be by later this afternoon to bathe her.

@Yahooey

I would petition to have durian fruit banned from where you live.

Due to its overpowering smell, durian has been banned on many types of public transport across Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong. In Singapore, the fruit is banned across all types of public transportation and even taxis have signs to let you know they refuse to carry passengers transporting the smelly fruit.

there was a show

Andew Zimmerman or something like that on Food Channel or Travel Channel

where he would describe the crunchy underbelly of a slug or some other critter all over the world - all the weird stuff - he would describe the taste and texture

he couldn't eat the durian - now that is bad

Hi, there, @Reconnaissant!

The site was a mess this morning, as you found out -- I see a few other threads talking about it, too.   I've noticed (and reported) a growing problem that points to a database degradation in the user file...  goes back at least a year and a half and IT support seems not to have any interest in fixing it.   Doesn't bode well for the future of this site.

I logged in and tried to answer a tech question and wanted to return to this thread and look back at yesterday's posts...  but I was in a bad, bad, very bad mood and adding all the website glitches to it created a recipe for, well, nothing good!   I needed to take myself to the corner for an attitude adjustment...😉

Good to see you here, and I hope you and yours are well.❤️
