@Yahooey  They're huge.  I was calling them a beaver, but then DH said they're wood chucks.  Beavers have that big flat tail, I think.  @PamfromCT will have to weigh in on that.

I don't know if they chuck wood.  They run back and forth like lunatics.  I find them quite amusing.  Last year, they had babies.  So cute.  The babies would run behind the mama and the papa.

Hi Lovelies!

This is definitely a woodchuck.  Look at that little tail.  Beavers have very large and powerful tails.  We don’t have woodchucks near our house, but one of the preserves near us has a large pond.  You can’t miss a beaver dwelling.  Just huge.  And those rascals must have sharp teeth to cut down all that wood.  But have never seen a beaver there!

Thanks for all your kind comments.  Resident zoologist?  Who

knew?  I love seeing the deer at certain times of the year.  They do like to nibble on shrubs, but I don’t care.

I would never dare to wear bacon perfume outside...it could get interesting in the worst way.

@SouthernBee, Just tell us where you are, and we will pitch in for your bail money.  Just tell us what you need, and we’ll figure it out.  Don’t worry, we won’t judge.  As they say, “Well behaved women rarely make history.”

@Mj12 : Well went shopping for dinning room chairs. I look and took a seat on every available chair. I have scoliosis in my neck, lower back problems and one leg shorter than the other and that makes it difficult to find any thing to accommodate each issue🤷‍♀️. So then had to narrow the options down which were very few. Then had to go back around for second seating . Then my two friends mentioned- you know your mother's table very old and may not last much longer, since already repaired once. Then friends and sales lady mentioned- much easier to match table and chairs now in the store!?? Well of course the table that went with the chairs selected was toooo big and chunky for my small area. So here we ago again twice back around the store. Purchased chairs and dinning room table. Everything thing on sale plus 25 % military discount. Yet - sitting here worrying and second thoughts. Don't have room any where else in the house to keep My mothers table. 😢😢😢Southern Bee

@SouthernBee  That's a great idea about making a coffee table from it or maybe making something else with it.

I'm glad you found new chairs though.  I hope they're nice and comfy for you.

We'll keep the bail money nearby.  Ya never know with this crew.
