@Mj12 @Your potato experiment is a huge sucess.I wish I had done that too.We can't seem to buy any good potatoes here so it would be such fun to did out a couple of really fresh tubers for dinner anytime I pleased.You have a very nice garden planter in your back yard.Did your dh make that?

Aww thank you @dex !  Yes he made the planters.  He had some extra 4 X4's so he just used them, plus some cheap wire fencing to hopefully keep the rabbits out.

@Mj12

the planters do look amazing...

but couldn't the bunnies jump over the wire?

isn't that what bunnies do? hop

maybe I need a sidebar with our resident zoologist @PamfromCT

if your DH can do that -

sure he can build gutters for

@Bri369 @Lol..I guess it's time for coleslaw.I didn't know that bunnies loved cabbage.That must have been cute watching them eat the leaves.My son has bunnies in his yard that he feeds carrots.He also keeps a water dish for them.Now he is getting all sorts of visitors for the water.Yesterday he sent me a picture of Ducks drinking.He has a cardinal that pops 8n too.

@dex  They loved the cabbage.  They really like bread.  The other day I saw a bunny scampering off with a whole piece of toast.

I have bunnies, wood chucks, and ducks.  I saw a couple of skunks, and that scared me.  LOL

Cardinals are good luck!

Speaking of rabbits - LOL

I sent my daughter to the store the other day.  I told her to get a head of butter lettuce.  We put the groceries away, and I didn't think about the butter lettuce until last night when we were going to have BLT's.

I pulled the "butter lettuce" out of the fridge, and it felt very heavy.  I realize it's cabbage.  That doesn't work on BLT's.

I took off the outer layers and left it for the bunnies that visit my yard.  Within 10 minutes, I had 3 bunnies feasting on cabbage.  They were so cute.

@Bri369 ....I love this!...That is so sweet!...We have a bunch of bunnies running around our area and they were feasting on our Marigolds, so I just dug them up and placed them in our backyard area for them to enjoy...We just replaced our Marigolds with some Supertunias yesterday.

Now, after reading your post, when we make our trip to the supermarket next week, I'm going to pick up a head of cabbage just for them...I love nature! Heart
