@Yahooey : Still trying to find whole wheat flour and yeast. DH wants more bread and cake. Hope to do more next week. Enjoyed a long nap this afternoon. I need to decide what to cook for tomorrow. Friend yesterday gave me several of her old cook books and looking through them for anything different. Friend also said she could teach me how to crochet- yea- my bad eyes and three thumbs- my BigMama and mother couldn't teach me how to sew😳😳😳😁😁😁. We decided that cooking and cleaning were the better home duties for me. Southern Bee

@Yahooey @Ok maybe @SouthernBee @will bake a cake.I know she is a great cook but she said she was tired of cooking.We will see if she can muster up the will to do it.I will make head cheese from scratch...just need a hog head or hocks.

@Bri369 : I have one 4 ounce jar of the bread machine yeast. Every time that I find on line the bag of yeast that everyone recommended it sells out before I can process the order. I have two bags of the bread machine mix that I ordered on line but it also sells out fast. Haven't had time to try mixing the dough in the machine and then baking it in the oven. ❤️Southern Bee

Oh it is such an easy process..you will be surprised by the results.We just make our own without the mix...water,oats,flour,honey,salt,oil,yeast..simple but good.
