Pre-lit Christmas trees....???

I am thinking of getting one at Costco this year, they are the most realistic I have seen.

Anyway, I have never had a pre-lit tree and I am nervous about the lights after a few years. I mean, how long are they supposed to last? {#emotions_dlg.w00t}
