As you know, I had a hematoma removed from my leg last Thursday. The doctor told my husband and I that I would need a nurse to visit for some routine wound care. She told me the nurse would call to set up a time and would show my husband how to care for the wound. Stupidly, I thought they would call after the weekend. Nope. I called the doctor's office today and they informed me that the nurse should have been here already and my husband should have been caring for my wound. I am waiting for my husband to come home from work take me to the doctor asap. I am so angry at myself for not calling the doctor earlier to follow up about the wound nurse. I have no symptoms of infection, nor pain of any sort, so please can we pray that this lapse in wound care turns out okay? Thanks.
