I have prayed and will continue to pray for you and your husband, and that something opens up very soon for him.  I'm sorry you're in this situation and I can only imagine how difficult it must be.  **HUGS**

@busymom22  My most heartfelt prayers are with you. I've been in your position & understand your situation.Ten years ago my DH's company was bought out & all management people were laid off after being told that they wouldn't be.

For several months DH was a nervous wreck. Our son had just started college & tuition was due.DH spent all day everyday applying for jobs, networking etc. He feared that at 61 he would be forced to retire.
Then one day he got a phone call.He went for a job interview & was given the job on the spot.He beat out several much younger people. They even paid him more than he was making when he got laid off several months before. He got the job just as his severance pay was about to run out.He still works there & has survived several layoffs & has even gotten a couple of promotions.

Something better is about to come your husbands way.Hang on!! Help is coming!!

@busymom22  I'm sorry you are having to deal with this.  I'm sure it is so stressful on your entire family.  I will definitely say a prayer that your husband finds work quickly.

In the meantime, take advantage of all the local resources available to help with groceries.  There is no shame in using those services and it can help ease some of the financial stress.

Wishing you all the best,

I pray your husband not only finds a job, but one that brings him fulfillment. I know you prayed for a miracle, and remember that the Lord works in mysterious ways.

May you and your husband have a Christmas miracle!

I'm sorry this happened to your husband, it's a terrible situation to be in.

The oil industry took a big hit with the pandemic and not sure where you are logistically, but the east coast is down to a couple of refineries.

Not sure what his position is, but there are jobs available, but you must be willing to travel/relocate.  I'm sure you already know this.

Maybe another type of work is in the cards for him?

Here's hoping something comes along and soon.  Prayers to all who are in this position.

I remember your post from July and have thought about you. Will pray too. When a person knows their spouse would make an excellent employee, it's hard to see them being overlooked.
