I am requesting prayer for calm and assurance and a successful eye surgery on Monday. I will have my second cataract surgery on my left eye January 12 at 9:00 A.M. My right eye surgery was done January 5 with wonderful success. I can now see at a distance and, hopefully, will have to wear glasses for reading only. I have total confidence in my surgeon but, after all, it is my eyes. Thank you.

Prayers for little McKenna, her medical team and family, too. Such a scary thing- internal bleeding. But the Lord is able.

Dear friends, AMONG FRIENDS,

We have a wonderful friend whom I met yesterday on another thread, only to find out after the posting, her mom, age 68, was taken to the emergency with abdominal bleeding and a heart attack. I have (*everyone can read*) told her I would send word -walking with her as she waits. Without going through a long story, I am asking for many prayers for rac71's mom who is not doing well, at this time.

I told her to come over to Among Friends where she will be very welcomed and held dearly in our hearts.

I........... am under-> _Naes/ _Not an easy sale. She was looking through differnt threads and forums as she tried to pass the time until the doctors told her of mom's condition.

This happened so suddenly. *rac71 was and is still is under a lot of stress due to not knowing.

She was on another thread when I was asking and answering about an appliance.

AND I DO HOPE EACH DEAR LADY CAN FOLLOW THROUGH AS WE STAND BY RAC71 DURING THIS ORDEAL.

Many blessing to each one who has read of this 'coincidental' -FINDING HER.

I wish for you, jubilant, to know I remember our last conversation, with both of us- either living on a farm (as you were) and myself/ our family having a large apple & peach orchard, along with a working farm. I did live in the city but the farm & orchard was my love.

I remember those yummy apple pies stories you spoke of at (grandma's)~
