We all need to pray for the citizens of Ferguson, MO. I was so sad watching the news last evening and today after the announcement of "no indictment" of Officer Darren Wilson. The destruction and devastation is overwhelming. My heart goes out to the citizens of Ferguson and nearby communities.

May the dear Lord fill your hearts with thanksgiving and joy. May he provide gentle comfort and care to those you love who are suffering. May he hold you in his loving arms as you search for peace and understanding. Our world is not perfect but we serve a perfect God who will reveal the answers to us in His time, not ours.

For those who suffer, may you find comfort.

For those in pain, may you find relief.

For those who are lost, may you be found.

My wish is day of Thanksgiving filled with all sorts of laughter and joy for each of you.

AnikaBrodie, for certain my prayers continue for healing, peace and restoration of order for Ferguson and all communities suffering unrest at this time. Giving thanks that so far the protests elsewhere, have remained peaceful.

Thanks for the prayers and the good thoughts re my pal who I hadn't heard from in a while. I was contacted last night. My friends two sons had come by and that was what it took to get them out of their slump - just wanted to feel loved and needed from someone I suppose. Oftentimes folks don't want to admit they are scared they are not loved, wanted, or cared about and I think that may have been the case here. It was good connecting.
