[Puzzle Piece]

My good friend and an elder mother needs prayer - she fell and is in a convalescent home. She isn't doing well and needs uplifting prayer for healing and so forth. She is somewhat unusual as she has been a Christian most of her life - she is a Jicarilla Apache which seldom convert to Christianity.

May our dear Lord Jesus have mercy and compassion upon your good friend, Love Roses. He loves her and we ask Him to heal her, all according to His divine will and bring her comfort. May Mary, His and our Heavenly Mother intercede for us. In Jesus' Name I pray.

Thank you Gloria. She is now half in the spirit world and half here. She is being called home and it is very hard for me. She has been a tribal elder mother to me. No judgment or criticism, just guidance. I am a better person for having known her in my life. I will dearly miss her and a part of me will be gone too. I have known love.

I had posted prayer requests for Blake (#s 80, 83, 85) and thank you for your prayers. Blake woke up this morning with a temp of 102.9 and the doctor thinks it may be a reaction to the antibiotics he's still on. He came home from hospital with a PICC line for IV meds that were to be given til Nov. 3. Meds have been stopped for now per his doctor and he will see his specialist(s) at the hospital today. Please pray that this turns out to be a minor setback and not a new infection. He had been doing very well ... until now.

I agree with AuntG. I also think posters comments sometimes take on a life of their own. If/when one comments in a negative manner, others follow suit despite the fact they have little or no direct knowledge of the situation. I will keep BS in my prayers.

Thank you all for continuing to use this Prayer Request thread. I have you all in my daily prayers, continuing prayers for Blake, and here's a nice healing prayer I got from my sister that some of you may want to make a copy of and pray: Bobbiesue, praying for you also daily and all here who ask for prayers.

A Prayer for Healing

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing hand to heal me (or your loved one you are praying for). Touch my soul with compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need and help me to lead others to you by my example. Would you please keep a very close friend of mine in your prayers. She is having marital difficulties and her husband is very close to leaving her. She is in a very delicate condition and I'm so afraid for her She needs prayers of strength and peace. Her initials are E.M. I hope they can work through this difficult time and become stronger.
