I just ordered 100 forever stamps.  We don't use alot of stamps, but at least I know I have them available for the next few years.

@Carmie  Thanks for the update!  I am going to order from the post office website.  I'll get the Christmas ones too so I won't have to worry about them in December.  There were a couple that won't release until a couple days after the increase so they are .68 already.

I bought 4-ever stamps when they first came out in 2007.  I don't recall how many I bought but I still have a lot left.  Between online bill pay and not writing letters (thank you email and texting), I rarely use them.  I think my last stamp was last year when I mailed our property taxes and I have one on this year's property taxes waiting to mail it.

Do they sell 2cent stamps? I just bought a sheet of 66cent stamps.

If you paid $ .66 for forever stamps,they are good forever with no additional postage due even if the price goes up.

I use A LOT of stamps; 200 a year at least, so I try to stay well stocked at all times. I also send quite a few postcards.

We don't use enough stamps that this increase would be significant to us.

Not a big deal. We pay all bills on line. Send out only one Birthday card to my sister. Send out lots of Christmas cards and have lots of Forever stamps. Not going to break me.
