@BirkiLady  I ordered some  forever stamps online.  The Elvis stamps are nice...as are the Janis Joplin stamps!

There was a sign in the PO today my hubby said they are going up..

I have to laugh a few years ago maybe around 8 or so, a friend of ours who is a rural mail man was standing behind me and I didn't know it. I was talking to a lady seated next to me and we were talking about stamps, I said since I pay my bills online and now only email never send letters I hadn't bought a stamp for maybe 2 years.......Well he said " YOU ARE THE REASON THE PO IS IN SUCH POOR SHAPE" I didn't really know what to say to him except, I dont get paper mail much anymore and so I would say I am saving trees.......?? I guess...

I'm glad they're picking an even number. I don't mind the increase. We still mail all our bills. I refuse to do bill pay online. The only thing that comes out of our account "automatically" is Netflix. (As far as paper ie the paper bills, we recycle everything recyclable here)

Yes the rates are increasing.  I went to the PO today to send off a package, and heard of the increase.  Bought a roll of stamps...I was almost out.

I picked up a book at Safeway today while grocery shopping. Sooo convenient.

I rarely mail letters and expect the forever stamps I already have to last me for years.

I’m not sure why we should pay more for increasingly bad mail service...
