Trying to get a serviceman or handyman out is getting more and more difficult. Friends waited for months for concrete workers and asphalt people to return calls and do the work after waiting for months.

Sadly, more and more restaurants are closing around here too.

Prices continue to soar and the store shelves are getting more empty.

QVC shipping issues have absolutely nothing to do with Chinese port news.

Poor management is the issue.

@Johnnyeager   I suggest you run, not walk, to read Seatrade Maritime News.  You are seriously, sadly mistaken.  And it's going to get worse with all imported good from Asia.

I'm concerned about a shortage of prescription drugs.  People are already reporting they can't get them for pets.

I worry about the two meds I take for a botched thyroidectomy.  I better see about doing a private pay again to have some on hand.

@MistreatedbycsBreitbart? Not really the most reliable source.

@NigelSparkles   And??

Google is your friend.

I find it odd that because one finds Breitbart unreliable one completely dismisses the whole story.

There are other mainstream outlets reporting the same story.

Can you imagine the ramifications of this event.

The reference to Breitbart is missing from your post. I wanted to know if they explained why the port closed or omitted the facts to agitate readers.

@On It   This is about a port closure, not an attempt to agitate readers.

Pharmaceuticals, PPE, masks....

So, do we think this will impact QVC and we will have to put up with slow shipping?  Oh, wait...slow shipping...I think I have read some threads about that...LOL...

The only good news about this is that no one should be surprised at the delays or empty shelves or warehouses in some places, even if only temporary. I have done no holiday shopping and will rely more on gift cards so the recipients can get what they want when what they want is available. I have many little grands, so Santa will probably start filling the sleigh in a few weeks as much as possible.
