The Pope was a fine example of kindness and acceptance of all religions and kinds of people. He will be missed. After his illness, it's appropriate that he hung on through Easter. I think God had that plan for him.

It was almost like he knew, the way he insisted yesterday.  He was a good man.  May his memory be a blessing.

I'm so sad. He was the best Pope in my lifetime, He lived what Jesus taught. I pray our next Pope is just as wonderful.

he will go down in history as one of the most forward thinkers of our time.   only wish he was elected at a younger age.

I am not  of this faith, but i firmly beleive this pope was a kind ,loving one.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I have never cared for this man.  May he rest in peace and may the cardinals choose a better pope this time around.
