Re: Popcorn Problem and the kindness of QVC

Why would you donate the popcorn to charity when it's not good enough for you to eat?  Did I miss something?

the OP didnt like it......that doesnt mean it is inedible or that someone else wont like it. as with many food items on qvc.....there are one star reviews, and there are five star reviews.

You don't like certain popcorn, so, that means I won't like it?  Don't know anyone that likes oily, salty popcorn?  I'm a low fat intake person and pop my own corn, but my sister loves double buttered popcorn.

After all, this is a charity not a popcorn tasting experiment.

I've read they do that with food items.  (I'm sure some people take full advantage of that as well).

If the popcorn was open, I doubt it could be donated.

I should have been clearer.  I had ordered the popcorn for this time and next and I wanted to be removed from the repeat order.  That is why I called and after saying why I was cancelling they told me they would give me a refund on the present order.  Very salty, and oily.

They told me to donate.  I didn't like the taste, the salt, and the oil.  David seemed to like it when he ate it. LOL and I am sure that others might like the taste.  Just not for me.  It seems a waste if I just trash it.  Someone might like it.

Funny, no kiddies, just two chihuahuas that look like your kiddies.  One is Buttercup and the other Bailey.  Both long haired.  They just love to chase kiddies.

I stopped buying microwave popcorn because of the over use of oils and salt.... I either make my own or buy SkinnyPop which is WONDERFUL!  Sam's club has huge bags of it.... I love it, it's lightly salted and you can taste the corn.  And if you want a little butter flavor you can spray on Butter flavor (in a spray can like Pam) and salt it more if you want.  Good product... Have to try that. Everything today is loaded with sodium.
