He went out to help the lawn guy. Next thing I hear him yelling for help. His pinky is gashed wide open and bleeding hard. He wants me to help him but he's telling me what to do and jumping around so it's hard to help him. I had to get strict with him (falling back into my nurse routine). I finally got him cleaned up and a dressing in place. I am glad that I was a nurse or I would have probably fallen apart. I got very bossy and told him not to behave like a child - it worked. Now he is happy that I stopped the bleeding and got a dressing on his finger.
