I always thought you had to opt *in* to easy pay, rather than opt out. Did that change?

I always order on-line, and quite a bit of ordering in the past couple weeks (WEN) and my orders are not automatically easy-pay. It doesn't appear to default to last order selection either, so I don't understand the problem.

If the item is offered on easy pay, you automatically get it unless you opt out. It's been that way as long as I can remember. You have to go through the step-by-step ordering process to opt out.

That may be the case if you use speed buy, couldn't say because I never go that route. I DID however just tested the on-line ordering on the TSV and neither choice for how to pay was marked.

Easy Pay Option

Listed below are the items in your order that are available for Easy Pay. Please choose a payment option for each item. Click here for more details.

When I order online and check out, it gives me the option to use easy pay if it is available. If I don't check the box for however many payments and the amount, it automatically charges the full amount. It never gives me easy pay unless I check the appropriate box. This is an example of what comes up at checkout:

A224554 — Susan Graver Essentials Cotton Modal 3/4 Sleeve Bateau Neck Top

EasyPayOption_

5 Easy Payments of $7.20

1 payment of $36.01

There is a circle in front of each option - click on the circle for the option you want.

that is how it looks for me also when i am checking out at qvc. just choose the easy pay or the full payment by marking the circle.

If you speed buy, it may not show the screen w/ all of the options including CC to choose from for payment. That happened to me once, awhile ago, and it wasn't done as an easy pay. I don't speed buy any longer, since I may miss something new in the Q's processing.

Ah, so if you do some kind of quick ordering, where you don't get to choose payment method, delivery method etc (it all defaults to whatever you chose last time), you get easy pay by default? I always do the step by step process because I want to choose the delivery method.

No, there is no default; you automatically get the easy pay if it's offered unless you opt out by going thru the loner ordering process. It you speed buy and it's offered, you'll get the easy pay.
