I just don't get the Chicago bashing...it's one of the greatest cities in the USA, IMO.

Me neither, terrier. I grew up in Chicago's Hyde Park and loved it! I agree...Chicago is one of the greatest cities in the USA! However, I don't know what is going on with the increase in crime there. What people don't realize is that the increase in crime is not all over Chicago, but mainly in impoverished areas. It's a shame that something hasn't been done that works. I haven't lived in Chicago in many years, but have friends and family there. I love my hometown and pray that things change soon.

That is GREAT! Sox, I just saw the commercial on ESPN for the LL World Series and I'm so excited that its on. We try to watch it every year. The pressure the young guys are under is tremendous and when they cause an error, it breaks my heart.

That's awesome Sox, my youngest had a terrific season in baseball last spring. I'd love to see him go that far, lol.
