Oh I'm so sad to hear this. Prayers sent!

Just saw this tonight. Horrible. My late father was a retired LEO and he always said that serving warrants and domestic dispute calls were two of the most dangerous situations of all. I'm praying for the loved ones of those officers who did not make it and that those who were injured will recover.

@roeroe1005   So heartbreaking!  Given the jeopardy police officers face serving these domestic violence warrants, wouldn't it be possible to have "robots" serve the warrant, have a picture of the served warrant with the court date and let the officers sit in the patrol car to record its delivery?"  To lose 3 precious lives (and the killer whom I won't characterize) in such a tragic way is SIMPLY TOO MUCH TO BEAR!!

I will pray and am praying for all police officers.  My oldest grandson is one.I try not to worry...but I can say there are many days I wished he had chosen another profession.  I do admire his courage as I do all police officers.

As a mother of two Chicago Police Officers, I did hear this tragic news

It hurts...every time 

because when you are a family in Law Enforcement you become part of a larger family across the nation

When one hurts you all hurt
