I'm so upset.
I had pain in my arch for about 2 weeks....I have flat feet (and always have foot pain) and figured it was from that...but it got worse. A couple of days ago, I felt the bottom of my foot and found a lump....went to the foot doctor today and he's 99.9% sure it's Planter Fibroma.
The doctor said the only treatment is a cortisone shot, physical therapy, orthodics and as a last resort surgery. The problem is, that surgery is not always successful either. They can re-occur 10-15% of the time, and he said that's a high recurrence rate.
I did some googling and from what I've read, I'm rather depressed about it ever feeling better.
Has anyone here ever had this? What course of treatment did you pursue and did it help?
Thanks in advance.
