Thank you @happilyretiredgirl I had the patio cover built last June for the backyard and had DH remove the grass and put cement so I can have a front sitting area. I use both a lot.

I agree you have just the right amount of flamingos placed in a garden that they make sense in.

 

I say this because I live in "sunny" Oregon and there's this house on a main highway that I pass that for some illogical reason has about 20 flamingos all ringing a tree.  Nothing else around, just a ring of the birds facing this way and that around an evergreen! 

 

Then farther down the road is another house that has a cactus "growing" in their yard.  It's fake and lights up.  Even at Christmas.

 

As a former California native, I just cringe.

 

My opinion, but this sort of yard art just says "Keep Oregon Weird".
