We have a locally owned shop here called Twizted Confections that is famous for it homemade pies. Today they have a Pi-e Day Special. A slice of pie and a cup of coffee for $1.50. My SIL and I went and had deep dish blueberry and it was fantastic.

There's a thread in the Kitchen Forum, asking about everyone's favorite pie, and I believe that it's in honor of Pi day. It's a fun thread, reading about everyone's favorite pie flavor/s. Smile

As a retired math teacher, today I baked my husband's favorite apple crumb pie. Because I gave up sweets for Lent, it is all his.

Pi day and Hurley monsters 8th birthday...so me, da-mama lady made-a three-a pizza pies, and some pretty bug cupcakes.
