first of all, no where in the Bible does God say he will only give Christians what they can handle. This has been invented by humans as a way to comfort others. Instead it has become a meaningless cliche.
" you're the strongest person I know", said in response to a personal tragedy or life threatening diagnosis. A cliche that actually puts pressure on the victim to uphold some arbitrary standard. As if they didn't have enough on their plate. After my son died I heard it a lot. I finally started replying, What are my choices? Keep breathing in and out or....? That sent ppl backing away which at that point was ok with me.
I wish ppl would just say they are sorry and leave it at that.
Finally the word amazing. Most overused pointless and vague descriptor EVER.

The younger generation seems to use the words "No Worries" way too often. Who's worried? Not me.
Makeup/Skincare: "It's discontinued, reformulated, or repackaged, etc."

I've actually never heard it but see it written:
"Put on your big girl panties"
Something that bothers me is when a word takes on a new meaning, then it can only be used (understood) that way, as if it isn't still a word in our vocabulary to be used as we always have.
