Photography Buffs?

QVC is going to have the Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR as their TSV and was wondering if anyone can give me any kind of feedback regarding this model? I'm a beginner and have been wanting to invest in a DSLR. Is this an older model? QVC is notorious for offering older model electronic goods, so that is why I ask.

Any feedback would really help. Thanks.
