I didn't get a call but I got a letter today thanking me for being a best customer. They gave me a code to get $15 off my next purchase of $50 or more.

Yes, scammers spoof local telephone numbers in my area all the time. I guess they figure you're more likely to answer the phone. For a long time I kept getting calls that were showing up on the caller id as my number. I did call the phone company and let them know about it. They said it was definitely some kind of scam. The calls finally stopped.

I don't know abt any phone calls . Just received a letter today signed by Mike Fitzharris saying they are giving me $15 off and to use a specific code at check out . I did check and the code is good to use. Maybe that's why you had a call . Bummer since , I have already finished Christmas shopping .

I have received 2 codes in the mail from qvc in the last year or so. They never used to.

I get coupon codes from hsn quite often in my emails but you have to sign up for them.

Mystery solved. While the call indicated I should check email, there was nothing there. A snail mail letter arrived today with a letter about the joy of the season etc. as well as a $50 credit added to my account as a gift. I was astonished..
