Aw..

My cousin recently sent me a photo of my mom, aunt and cousin, in the audience, taken at a show, from probably 80's, I had no clue they even went to! Was so fun to see them there. I don't think they traveled to see him, (my mom was never in Chicago) so for whatever reason, this show might have been filmed in our homestate of CT or maybe NYC, where they might have traveled to, to see it.

RIP Phil Donahue. Back in the days before "O" came along, he was the man.

That's so sad to hear. I remember watching him in the 80s too. He really was the first of his kind! His show and style blazed the way for so many others in the business. He will be missed and remembered.❤️❤️❤️

Such sad news. I watched his show in the 1980's. I went to a taping of his show when it was in NYC. When he came up to the audience for opinions, I raised my hand. He came right over and I got to be on national TV for 2 minutes!!

Last week Marlo posted a picture on Facebook of her and Phil at Disneyland. It was right after they started dating.
